This Privacy Policy describes how the Skandagiri Residents Welfare Association (SKRWA), registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 (Regd. No. DRB3/SOR/98/2026-2027), handles information in connection with skandagiri-bda-progress.pages.dev (the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

The Platform does not:

• Require account creation, login, or any form of registration to view content;
• Use cookies, browser fingerprinting, or third-party analytics/advertising trackers;
• Collect payment information (no payments are processed on this Platform);
• Sell, rent, or share any information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Information Displayed on the Platform

The Platform publishes work-progress information sourced from resident reports, the resident WhatsApp coordination group, and communication with the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) and its contractors. This may include:

• Names or designations of BDA officials, contractors, and vendors, referenced only for transparency and coordination of ongoing works;
• Aggregate, block-wise counts of resident complaints (e.g. water complaints), without necessarily identifying individual flat numbers publicly on the main dashboard;
• General descriptions of infrastructure issues and their resolution status.

We do not intentionally publish sensitive personal information (such as phone numbers, financial details, or ID numbers) of any resident on this Platform. If you notice any such information has been inadvertently published, please contact us immediately using the details in Section 7 so it can be removed.

4. Information You May Voluntarily Submit

If you use a linked form or the Water Complaints Tracker (a separate service linked from this Platform) to report an issue, any details you choose to submit (such as your flat number and a description of the issue) are used solely to track and coordinate resolution of that issue with BDA and its maintenance contractors (including Hombale). Such submissions are not used for any commercial or marketing purpose.

5. Third-Party Links

The Platform links to third-party services such as the Water Complaints Tracker (skandagiri-water-complaints.pages.dev) and official BDA resources. These third-party services may have their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site before submitting information there. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.

6. Data Retention & Security

Content published on this Platform is retained for as long as it remains relevant to tracking ongoing or historical works at Skandagiri Apartment, and may be periodically archived or removed as works are completed. The Platform is hosted on Cloudflare Pages infrastructure. While we take reasonable care in publishing accurate and appropriate information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

This Platform is intended for use by adult residents, BDA officials, and contractors coordinating apartment infrastructure works. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in how the Platform operates. Any material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
